Mary sue – omg. Just because my character is a woobie, but also leik the most powerful character and like everyone wants them and is just jealous doesn’t make them a mary sue. They don’t have any flaws at all. STOP FLAMING.

2. That Sounds Wonderful: You've just been given the news. You have the potential to become a magical girl, and all you have to do is make a wish. Its time to consider what you'd want to wish for, and if that means consulting others so you find the right wish, that's what you're going to do. But whatever you do, be careful what you wish for, because you will get it.

3. There's No Way I'd Regret This: You've made your wish, and you're checking out the results. Its gone exactly as you'd hoped, but what did you wish for? Was it for yourself, or for others? A small wish, or a big wish? What were your reasons for it, and what powers do you now have as a result? Instead, many fight only for their own survival and upkeep, and they see other magical girls as competitors intruding on their hunting grounds. And unfortunately for you, this is the newest enemy you find yourself facing...

7. The Price of a Miracle: Violent, bloody and thankless. It is the only way to describe what has just happened. One moment your comrade, the magical girl, was fighting valiantly, and the next, she is gone. The manner of death it doesn't matter. To the rest of the world, she will be forgotten, another missing person, an unsolved case, her secret life forever buried. Only now has the reality of a magical girl begun to sunk in.

8. How Could You Do That To Us?: Did you not think the name 'soul gem' meant something? After all, no normal human could fight Witches and withstand the onslaught with their soul still connected to them. The truth of your nature of a magical girl is now becoming more horrifying as it becomes clear. And also, the realization that what you wished for was not coming out as you thought it would - its upsetting. And you now question whether the price was worth the payments you will make for the rest of your life.

9. I Was So Stupid...: You've reached it at last. The final, horrifying truth raises itself up in front of you as the cycle completes its inevitable circle. The Witches you have fought, up until now, were once magical girls, just like you. But they fell into despair, cursing the world. So their Soul Gems shattered and became Grief Seeds. And now, you realize, one day this will be your fate, as you fight or watch another fight the twisted remnants of your friend. Or perhaps you are the Witch, or at least the amalgamation of what is left of your conscious soul's final moments. But the end is the same, and can never be helped. After all, a contract is a contract.

ALIGNMENT SWITCH MEME

Well, it looks like your characters have all switched alignments. Could be by choice, or it might not be. But now good characters are becoming evil, and evil characters are becoming good.

The question now is why.

✓ Post with your characters.
✓ You (or whoever is in your thread who may be picking your numbers) may either choose to use the RNG to test your luck, or just pick a number you like to play with. The set of numbers they may pick depends upon whether they are good or evil, of course.

✓ PROFIT.

GOOD CHARACTERS ARE NOW EVIL BECAUSE...
1. Evil Laser Beams. Or evil gas. Or evil potion. Or maybe you just ate some bad shrimp. Silly puns aside, your character now inexplicably evil due to this event, and the only way to change them back is to hit them with the same thing a second time. That is, if your character can be stopped long enough...

2. Deal With The Devil. Your character desperately needed something done, and the only person capable of getting that something done is their nemesis. The problem is, he wants something in return - and no matter the details, the end result is the same. Your character is going to be doing some pretty evil things to fulfill their end of the bargain...

3. Brainwashed and Crazy. Someone used the activation code, put a chip in the brain, plunked on the brainwashing hat or just did it the old fashioned way with a watch while saying 'you're getting sleeeepy'. Whatever the case, your character is completely under someone's thumb, and what better way to use them then to use them to cause havoc and chaos?...

4. A Monster Am I. They've been infected with the Virus, given a syringe of mutating agents, or suppressing Their primal side for too long. But your character's reluctance to reveal the truth to their allies will cost everyone dearly. Because your character can feel the transformation start, and only seconds remain until they're little more than a killing machine...

5. Watch Out For Pea Soup. Your character's been possessed by something malevolent. A ghost, a god, a puppet master, or whatever else might want to possess them. Maybe they know they're possessed and maybe they don't. But one things for sure - their loved ones are about to find out because nothing short of death or an exorcism is going to work against your character now...

6. Amnesia Makes Everyone Evil. Your character bumped their head somehow and have completely lost their memories of being the good guy. Their enemy has thus managed to trick them into believing that their allies are really the enemy and that they have to fight them to save the day. And being the amnesiac, good-willed sap that your character is, they believed the bad guy...

7. ...Wait, That Wasn't You?! Your character's evil twin has arrived! Or maybe it's a clone. Or a robot. Or an alternate reality version of them. Or their disgruntled reflection in the mirror. Whatever the case, they've managed to sully your character's good name while they were away on vacation. Or maybe the evil twin was holding them hostage all along!...

8. This Just Isn't Working. Being good just isn't cutting it. No matter what your character tries, their methods aren't working to prevent whatever problem is happening. Or maybe they've had a falling out with their allies, or said did something that crossed a line. In any case, its time to make a decision. And your character has decided that they're better off allying with the bad guy, now the lesser of two evils in their eyes, after all...

9. Evil All Along. Your character was evil this whole time. They're just a damn good actor, if they might say so themselves. Maybe they were working as the bad guy's spy, or working toward their own evil ends. Still, their allies have now outlived their usefulness, and its time to crush them. Like they say, keep your friends close and your enemies closer...

10. Wild Card. It can be any of the above, or something else entirely!

EVIL CHARACTERS ARE NOW GOOD BECAUSE...
1. Good Laser Beams. The opposite of Evil Laser Beams. It was likely an accident with actual laser beams (your character was evil, after all), but in any case your character is now the nicest and most selfless person to ever walk the the face of the planet. And the only way to change them back is to - what else? - hit them with whatever turned them good a second time...

2. Brainwashed and...Nice? The opposite of Brainwashed and Crazy. It may or may not have been the doing of the good guys. But now your character has become nice as pie. Not only this, but they'll obediently follow any order given, because they're just that nice! Heck, they're so nice it might actually start getting on the nerves of the heroes as to just how nice they are. Or, well, maybe your character's evil allies might want to un-brainwash them too...

3. I Have A Good Twin!? The opposite of ...Wait, That Wasn't You?! Your character's insufferably good clone/twin/alternate self/mirror image/etc. has just made a complete mess of your character's image and life. Now its up to everyone else to solve it while your character's gone. Or, maybe they're supposed to rescue them from whatever horrific imprisonment the good twin put your character in back when they first arrived...

4. Amnesia Makes You Good. The opposite of Amnesia Makes You Evil. Now its the good guy's turn to use amnesia to their advantage. They've convinced your character to help them with something - likely an evil scheme your character perpetrated - because, according to them, your character's a good guy and they just don't remember. And all the while they're praying your character stays not remembering long enough to finish the job...

5. Being Good Isn't So Bad. The opposite of This Just Isn't Working. Maybe it started with an unexpected act of kindness from the other side. Or maybe its from breaking free from years of misguidance. Or maybe it was falling in love with an enemy, or getting older. But something has happened and now, looking back your character's started to have scruples about what they're doing. Maybe the good guys were right - and maybe its time to start doing some heavy-duty soul-searching and genuine penance...

6. Healed In The Name Of The Moon. The truth is stranger than fiction sometimes. It turns out that you weren't always this evil, but rather you were forced by a spell or curse to become an evil monster, and its been so long you forgot all about who you once were. But now, your character's enemies have found the magic or the machine that will turn you back into your long-forgotten self. And they've just activated it...

7. Spy For The Rebel Alliance. The opposite of Evil All Along. They pretended to be evil for the sake of truth and justice - and now your character is a close ally of the enemy. So much so that your character has gotten rid of some bad guys by faking them being spies - and they have even fooled the good guys into thinking they're completely evil. But the time has come to discard that evil persona and to reveal to the enemy just why trusting your character was really a bad idea...

TYPES

1. Psychosis: Aah, the classic split personality. Disassociative personality disorder. Its all in your mind, this personality. Though of course your mind - being as broken as it is - has no problem switching personalities back and forth for whatever reason. Maybe its because personal trauma is being revisited. Maybe its 8:25. Or maybe you hear someone screaming for help...

2. Pea Soup: The other personality is due to possession of some kind. Alien, demonic, angelic, ancient, recent, robotic, item-based, ritual accident, it doesn't matter. You're sharing your body with someone else, whether you are/were willing to or not. Better hope your new co-inhabitant doesn't screw things up while you're out of commission in your head.

3. I Was Cleopatra: You had a past life of some kind, or the memories of your ancestors are embedded into your genetic code. Or maybe you lost your memories some time ago in a car accident. Whichever it was, said memory and personality has become strong enough to overtake your present personality. Now, you are the person/people you used to be.

4. Total Recall: Your memory and personality were artificially tampered with, whether or not you are aware of it. Obviously there was a reason for it, and whatever the reason was, your original personality - or is that the fake personality? - knows. Have fun trying to wrestle with which one of you is real and which one was implanted.

5. Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde: The split personality isn't just mental, spiritual, or psychological. You also change physically. Maybe its something as tiny as parting your hair differently. It could be something more momentous like being a different height or weight. Or maybe you even grow different appendages and change skin color. Either way - you don't just act different, you look different too.

6. Wild Card: Anything not on this list, or a combination of the above.

SCENARIOS

A.: You've just experienced your first brush with your other self. Ow, your head. What the hell happened last night?

B.: You're attempting to suppress your alter ego. Be it drugs, meditation, playing video games, whatever it takes to deprive that other self from surfacing.

C.:Someone you care for is about to find out about your split personality. Whether or not you want them to.

D.: You're on the run. And as your enemies close in, you realize the only way out of this is to let that other self take over...regardless of the consequences.

1. A Fatal Attraction: You've just learned your spouse has been having a relationship with someone else. It could have been once, or could have been for years. They could even have had children with this third person. Either way, there's no way to repair the damage.

2. Always Hurt The One You Love: Your spouse is abusive, towards you and/or your children. You kept telling yourself it would get better, that they would change, but it hasn't. It's only gotten worse. And now you've had enough of it. There's only one way out for you.

3. Every Time You Go Away: Your spouse is going away again. Maybe it's bad and they've landed back in jail, or maybe it's just because their work is taking them away again. But the long separation has taken its toll on the both of you, and it's time to face the truth.

4. Two Steps Forward, Two Steps Back: Maybe you're human, and they're yokai. You party and they don't. In any case you have different cultures and values and it becomes more obvious as time goes by. You could handle it before, but this? Is the last straw.

5. Monster-In-Law: You're not really divorcing your spouse. You're really divorcing that one in-law from hell whose only purpose in life has been to destroy whatever happiness you and your spouse may have had. Well, now they've done it. Happy?

6. The Spanish Inquisition: Something unexpected has happened. Perhaps a death in the family, or someone's lost or gained a job. Whatever it is, it's caused one of you to change, big time. And the strain it's put on you both has brought you to a decision.

7. Thanks For All The Fish: You're...just divorcing. It's no one's fault, really. You've both tried to make it work, but for whatever reason - boredom, disinterest - it just isn't. Still, you're parting as the closest of friends, and hey, it just might be better this way.

1. Spouse: The other person in the equation. You'd better be ready for what's about to happen - or maybe you're not.

6. Turn in Your Badge: Your unorthodox methods and persistent targeting of the wrong people (or, maybe, the right people) has gone too far. Your boss, your partners, your co-workers, whoever it might be - they've had enough of you being a thorn and a pest. Its time to put you in your place with the scariest weapon they have in their arsenal - a pink slip.

7. A Traitor In Our Midst: You never anticipated this could happen. But you've been betrayed. They're working for someone else to take you down before you can solve the case. Perhaps something has made them simply snap and they cannot handle it anymore. Or, perhaps, they were the ones who were pulling the strings this whole time...and you have crossed them.

8. Mexican Standoff: Guns and violence. Its the final showdown and no holds are barred. Its time to take down the bad guys - before they take you down.

9. Forget It Jake...: The truth is at last revealed. But was it worth it? Do the responsible parties pay for their misdeeds? Is justice served? Is the city a better place for having had the crime solved? And if it truly was, at what cost? Lives? Money? Morality? Innocence? As you look through the window onto the city, you have to wonder...

Maybe in a hospital, maybe on the street, maybe in a scientist's lair, but their first reaction is the same - they can't recall how they got there. Or where they were before. Or their name. Or...perhaps they don't remember anything from before waking up...and there's no identification on hand to help them out!

2. Try To Blend In...: Your character's decided to try and make the best of it, and embark on a new life, and new identity. Of course they can't escape the nagging feeling that they should be doing something entirely different with their life, but maybe they ignore it in favor of some normalcy. Or they stay forever curious about their forgotten life...

3. This Feels Familiar: Maybe its a place, or a person, or just a general feeling, but your character feels an incredibly strong sense of deja-vu about...whatever it is. It is strong enough to think that maybe - just maybe - this could be a clue to who your character really is! Now the question is - is it really?

4. How Could You Have Forgotten Me?: Oh boy. It was bound to happen. Someone runs up to your character to give you a giant hug, and they are just so happy to see your character is ok! Looks like your character's going to have to break the bad news to them - your character's never met them before now and don't remember ever meeting them. Your character can only hope they take it well as they try to explain this all to them...

5. You're On My Side, Remember?: Oh, hey, there's someone who seems to not only know who your character really is, but can explain that your character and he/she were the best of friends and did everything together and maybe there were these jerks that were responsible for their memory loss! There's just one problem - this person was actually your character's enemy pre-memory loss. Not that they remember this...which suits this enemy just fine.

6. Through Different Eyes: Maybe your character was rich pre-amnesia, and they're poor. Or evil, and they're good. Two things are for certain, however. Before your character lost their memory, your character and this other person have never met before - or if they have, they don't know they have. And they're both in the same bind somehow - kidnapped, about to be laid off, it could be anything - or just have something in common. Slowly, the two characters bond, becoming the best and unlikeliest of friends as they both go through life and its trials.

7. Lock and Load!: No memory loss plot is complete without some kind of battle! It can be an insanely epic superhero battle where your character's friends must fight your character - as an amnesiac enemy! Or it can be as normal as your amnesiac character arguing in front of the school board to prevent the under-funded program from being closed - by the company they ran before they lost their memory, ironically. Basically, a battle where your character's on a different side due to their amnesia.

8. Hulk Smash Your Head: The endgame. Someone has decided your character's been amnesiac long enough and is taking action! And thus, your character is about to get their memory - or have gotten it - back. How? How will they react when you remember everything and try to reconcile it with what they did (if they remember what they did while amnesiac, of course)? And...can someone get your character an aspirin!?

1. THE ANIMATION OF THE MOVIE OF THE COMIC: Oh, right, there was a movie or book or comic or game (or even another animated show!) that this is based on. But whereas the original may be bloody and violent and probably has some swearing, someone decided to turn you and your co-stars family-friendly morons who can't shoot straight for some reason. Oh, and you get an animal companion that probably wasn't in your original canon who makes all sorts of jokes that aren't always funny. Enjoy!

2. SHE'S A MAN IN JAPAN: Congratulations, your show's been brought over to the United States from another country! But...what the heck? Your name isn't Guy Supercool! And you're not in high school! And you don't live in America! And oh god they turned your iffeminate life partner into your female love interest?! And what do you mean your grandma didn't die, she passed into the Shadow Realm!? WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW!? WHY HAS SHE FORSAKEN YOU!?

3. AND SUDDENLY WE'RE CHILDREN: Screw being an adult like before. You're kids now in this. Who cares why, you just are - either in elementary school or maybe even preschool. You all live together without adult supervision (or if there is adult supervision, its almost never enforced) and you try to make the best of your situation. Like pretending to be in far off lands or saving the world from ghosts! Or even better - you actually do sneak out of the house to have AWESOME kiddy shenannigans without anyone knowing!

4. AND SUDDENLY WE'RE DETECTIVES: Screw the job you were at before, and all the friends and family you had previously. Opening your own P.I. joint in an entirely new place is where its at! Who cares if your previous job had absolutely nothing to do with detectiving! Anyone can be a detective with their new best friends and be a total expert at it without any previous experience! And what do you know, you've got your first big case coming right onto your desk - and it looks like a doozy!

5. AND SUDDENLY I'M THE MAIN CHARACTER: You were a part of a big group of people, or was a friend of the main character. And now, all of a sudden, you're on your own, in your own place. You're the focus now, and all the others you had known all these years are nowhere in sight! You have no idea how this happened or why you're now by yourself in a new town with new neighbors and new problems. But you can do it, right? Besides, this is your turn to shine and show you're not just another face in the crowd you left...!

1. BY THE _______ OF ________: You've come across a magical talisman which, with a shout, transforms you into a SUPER AWESOME HERO! Now that you have this amazing power, you must defend your homeland against everything that wants to destroy it (or, you know, save the orphanage with your band if that's what you do). On the downside, this might include random family members and friends you forgot you had because they were brainwashed by the bad guys way back when! Er...surprise?

2. CHEESY SCIENCE STRIKES!: You've been shrunken! Or....turned into a giant. Or a kid. Or a mermaid. Or a...well, whatever it is, be it a different size, age, species, gender, etc. its been altered by a magic potion, or maybe a mad scientist's really cheesy machine. And its incredibly inconvenient for you to be like this, so you need to get to the apparatus responsible, restore yourself to normal and save the day. On the other hand, all the obstacles that are now in your way might make that difficult...

3. AND NOW SOMEONE'S EVIL: It was bound to happen some time. Someone's turned traitor, or maybe they got brainwashed, or tricked, or its Thursday. They're now sporting awesome bad guy clothing, making bad guy speeches, laughing evilly, the whole nine yards! Maybe its you who's become evil. But whoever's randomly become evil, someone's got to save them from the bad guy's clutches somehow, right?

4. AND NOW SOMEONE'S GOOD: Its a bad guy! And they've been captured! And its one of the big fish, the trusted lieutenant, a former good guy, or even The Dragon. Maybe, now that they are cooling their heels, they can re-evaluate their life choices and consider that maybe being evil isn't so good after all. And who better to prod them towards the side of the good guys but you!

5. NIGHTMARE FUEL VS. THE POWER OF CUTE: This is it. folks. The person you're facing off against is made of pure evil. As in, they devour baby souls as a snack, enjoy killing entire planets off for fun or drain people's life forces for no other reason than pure boredom. And what can of badassery are you going to open on this unforgivable monster for threatening your land? Why, the power of your CARE BEAR STARE and THE RAINBOW and PONY POWER an--wait, what!?

6. AFTER SCHOOL SPECIAL: How the mighty have fallen! Your best friend - or maybe you - is hooked on drugs! Or in danger of being pregnant as a teen! In the wrong crowd! Skipping school! Not looking both ways before crossing the street! Whatever the sudden malfunction is, well, there's only one way to save the day - THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP! That's right - an unforgettable LECTURE about the dangers they face from their actions! You just hope these kids will listen!...

2. SAILOR MOON SAYS~: Ok, look. There's no moral. There was never meant to be a moral after this story. Really. But for whatever reason someone really wanted one to be there at the last minute, so you're doing overtime now. So what if the moral is about the dangers of smoking when the episode was actually about how someone just tried to blow up your city? Stop shuffling your feet and just give the damn lecture already!
